This was first time having my AC checked with this company. Irvin was very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great personality. He explained the processes, future repair needs, and went over the AC parts in detail. He also fixed my filter latch, so it would be much easier to change my filter every 2-3 months. I really appreciate the experience I had with him and hope to work with him in the future. He deserves a raise! I experienced a very high-quality service! Thank you!

Everyone I talked to at Acosta was great - Jeremy explained all of my options and gave me so much more information than any other company I spoke with. Christie is very friendly and made sure my install stayed on track. Brandon and Dale were the installers and they were so professional and easygoing. He inquired about any issues with the units they had installed a few weeks back. After inspection he explained one code issue found and how it would be resolved.

I invited Acosta Electrical group to visit and evaluate my service and the posy of adding an additional 220v circuit for future use. The same day one of their electricians stopped by and carefully reviewed our current panel. Timing of response terrific, review and explanation of options equally professional.Should this work become necessary I will continue to rely on Acosta who coincidentally provides our HVAC services.We are a multi year client and look forward to our future collaboration.

Gary was on time, friendly and professional. He apparently took the required time to thoroughly check out our two AC units. We believe he found two issues which we followed up on with our home warranty company. We ca recommend Acosta for system check ups.Update 10/15/23:After filing the above two issues with our home warranty company, they sent out a technician (from another HVAC company). This technician verified one of the two issues (fan motor bearings worn out).However, the second issue ("bad capacitor") was apparently not an issue as the capacitor had good readings (I witnessed this.).So, I'm not sure why the Acosta HVAC technician thought the capacitor was bad.Update 10/31/23:Gary reached out to me and further explained that capacitor readings are not black and white, that there is a range depending on the capacitor model, and that my capacitor reading was Just in the range limits. He recommended replacement although it's still operational.

Very polite and courteous, gave me a call that they were on the way and provided a link to see the tech as he headed over to plan my time. Joe was great, took plenty of pictures and gave clear options to fix our problem and discussed both with no bias. 100% giving them my business going forward after having bad experiences with 2 other well known HVAC businesses in Charlotte. No overselling and prices were fair.

Nothing like a family business that has years of experience and positive ratings. They are a Diamond dealer for Mitsubishi mini splits which extends the Mitsubishi warranty to 12 years. The other big plus is they have their own electricians which removes the hassle from the homeowner of coordinating an electrician, permits, and inspections.

The whole process was very professional and responsive and the service was rendered with qualtity workmanship. The appoinment reminders, confirmation, tracking to know when he would arrive and on-time arrival were most efficient and communicative. Tony was very knowledgeable and exceptional at thinking through the electrical issues on my old house which had a mix of outdated and retrofitted wiring. He made sure that he understood the problem and then worked efficiently to resolve them in a timely manner. I would hire him again, and I would recommend him and Acosta to anyone.

I Called 4 HVAC companies for repair, only Acosta was able to come same day. They Waived service call charge. The company price matched a competitor quote on a replacement evaporative coil which had been installed incorrectly by another contractor and leaked refrigerant. Management was very understandable and professional, knowing how difficult it was to endure 85F for 5 days while part was being shipped. Joshua, the service tech, was very helpful and wore booties in the home and cleaned up when repair was finished. As a Realtor, I recommend HVAC companies for inspections and repairs/maintenance/replacement all the time. Acosta will be at the top of my list of recommended companies.

Acosta installed two mini-splits for us several months ago. The service was outstanding and we are very happy with the installation and service. The team who came out and did all the installation were exceptional!! Everything went smoothly, was on time and the technicians were respectful and professional. I've got to say this was not a pleasant experience. First the new furnace didn't work. Then the new air conditioner didn't work (also an installation problem). It took a week to get the A/C going and a month to fix it. There was little contact (updates, assurances, followups). I spent nervous energy wondering where things stood and whether I needed to phone again. Each service visit was by a different tech (six). And, if the schedule called for it, a tech would leave a repair unfinished (and we lost our place in line). No one there is determined to get the customer taken care of.

Had an excellent and educational experience working with John Miller from Acosta. He showed me what was causing the issue and how to maintain the heating system going forward. This was on Friday afternoon at around 4:30 pm. John really is knowledgeable and practical, never overselling but showing means of saving money. Would like to know more about the heat pumps.

Acosta installed a Generac Generator for my home. The sales experience was fantastic. Jeremy understood my needs and worked with me in order to get this project rolling. The installation was very timely. Tony quickly assessed my home and explained the process. Once the installation was complete, Tony did a start up and made sure I understood how the Generator would function in the event of a power failure at my home. The warranty was explained as well as what maintenance would be needed.I felt very confident after this experience and would highly recommend this company for you to use in the event you are interested in a project of this nature.

Fantastic experience with Juan, Kevin, Jeremy and John Miller!Our house is unfortunately older and our HVAC unit was 30 years old! Heat and air was not circulating through our home and unfortunately we knew it was time for a replacement.John did a complete walk through, explained the issues and was able to fix some of the issues but ultimately we knew we would need a new unit. Having him walk us through the best options for our home was amazing! And while he explained to us our options, he took a moment to play tea party with our 3 year old! I loved the family feel! He was incredibly patient with all our questions, friendly and very professional!Jeremy then called my husband to talk financing and explained the whole process of what it would look like for monthly payments, it was a blessing to be offered this option! He was very friendly and extremely punctual in his responses to our questions! We really appreciated his honesty on what our home really needed and didn’t feel pressured to buy or purchase anything!The very next day Juan and Kevin arrived right on time for an install! We were shocked and pleased with the punctuality! They were both very professional, and I felt very comfortable having them come in and out of my home! They were fast and efficient and even offered to relabel some mislabeled switches on our power box!The air flow is so fantastic! Acosta has been amazing. We replaced our old AC unit using them and from start to finish amazing service and quality work. From the salesman Matt that first came to our home to the techs who installed the ac and thermostat everyone was exceptional. With ac install they did inspections a few months after to make sure everything was working smoothly. They even sent out one of their electricians Tony to inspect the breaker after install. Quality work.Several months later we had an electrical issue (unrelated to ac) and called Acosta back for their electrical service. Tony came out again and diagnosed the issue and repaired the issue. He does quality work and cares about his work. And it shows he tested many things to make sure his initial diagnosis was 100% the issue.I could not recommend Acosta enough and would use them again without hesitation they're just a great company with exceptional staff who knows their stuff.

Our family called Acosta to install a whole house generator and later this year a Lennox furnace & air purifier. Both times we have been very pleased with their communication, attention to detail and knowledge of the systems. When I bought my house 9 years ago, the AC unit died a few months later. Acosta was the company I chose to repair or replace it. They did a terrific job. I use Acosta for all of my maintenance needs for my home and business, so when it was time for a new unit I gave them an opportunity to quote which I compared against two other vendors. The quotes were all in the same range so I went with Acosta due to warranty and previous experience, and I’m glad I did. The variable Lennox system Eric recommended is nearly silent and the comfort level of the house is great without extreme amounts of air howling through the vents. Initially there was some troubleshooting which John fixed conclusively and methodically. Service levels I’ve come to expect from Acosta, 10/10!

Of the 4 contractors i had out to give me a quote Acosta was the only one who was trying to sell me an effective HVAC unit at a reasonable price. Every other contractor had some kind of payment plan or service guarantee (Acosta offered almost as good guarantees) that they tried to attach to the price of a new unit. Straightforward, effective company. Can’t thank Josh and his crew enough for their help.

We had our ac go out right in the dead of summer with 105 heat index and just got home with a new born. We called all the competitors and people were so rude and availability was terrible. Some saying it would be 6-8 weeks before they could install a new unit. I called Acosta and Jasmine answered the phone and was seriously so incredibly nice and helpful. She heard me out and was super responsive and had someone out to me within hours. Jeremy came and quoted a new unit. He was extremely professional. Also he was very honest on what we needed and didn’t need. Jamie and Chris came and installed the next day. We could not have asked for better service all around! Couldn’t recommend Acosta more!
