How Do UV Lights Work?
If your home’s air is found to be a good candidate for UV light cleaning, we can install the UV Light(s) in your duct-work usually within 1-2 hours. The germs in your home’s air are eliminated thus making the air you breathe cleaner. There are no moving parts, your HVAC system takes care of circulating the air and the UV lights handle the rest.
Do UV Lights Produce Ozone?
A common concern amongst our customers with UV Lights as an air cleaner is the production of Ozone(a known lung irritant). Some common UV light germicidal cleaners on the market do produce ozone during their cleaning process. However, the Healthy Climate® germicidal lights we install do not produce ozone.
